Psalm 91 Wristband (White)

Psalm 91 is a theme that I revisit year after year in my art making. This passage of scripture has been a comfort beyond words during some difficult times in my life. Over the past three years, I've heard so many voices echoing this beautiful Psalm. What a source of strength and reassurance it has become to so many! I wanted to keep a reminder with me of the Lord's presence and protection. I thought you might too, so I designed this wristband with us both in mind.

This 1" extra wide wristband comes in two sizes: youth (7 inches) and regular (8 inches) and two different colors (see my other items for the black version).

One side features a personalized, abbreviated version of Psalm 91 based loosely on the NIV. It reads:

I DWELL IN THE SHELTER OF THE MOST HIGH AND REST UNDER THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY. I WILL SAY OF THE LORD, "HE IS MY REFUGE AND MY FORTRESS, MY GOD IN WHOM I TRUST." I WILL NOT FEAR THE TERROR OF NIGHT, NOR THE ARROW THAT FLIES BY DAY, NOR THE PESTILENCE THAT STALKS IN THE DARKNESS, NOR THE PLAGUE THAT DESTROYS AT MIDDAY. A THOUSAND MAY FALL AT MY SIDE, TEN THOUSAND AT MY RIGHT HAND, BUT IT WILL NOT COME NEAR ME. BECAUSE I MAKE THE MOST HIGH MY DWELLING, NO HARM WILL OVERTAKE ME. NO DISASTER WILL COME NEAR MY TENT. HE COMMANDS HIS ANGELS CONCERNING ME TO GUARD ME IN ALL MY WAYS. THE LORD IS WITH ME. -PSALM 91

The opposite side features four icons representing four dangers this passage promises protection for those who dwell and rest in Him:

The terror of night,
The arrow that flies by day,
The pestilence that stalks in darkness,
The plague that destroys at midday.

I hope this wristband reminds you that you are covered, and that God loves you and is with you, no matter what you are going through.
